A Skincare Routine | Neal's Yard Remedies *

I was recently approached by a representative, Alexa, who wanted to send me a couple of products from the new Neal's Yard Remedies range called "Deliciously Ella". Of course I couldn't wait to snatch these products up and give them a try! For those of you that don't know, Neal's Yard Remedies is a London based brand focused on providing organic skincare and natural remedies with only the most natural ingredients included. Their collaboration with the food blogger 'Deliciously Ella' is a skincare range based around the scents of rose, lime and cucumber and I'm so impressed with what they've come up with!

Rose, lime and cucumber aren't necessarily scents that I would automatically put together, however they really do compliment each other and create an extremely relaxed aroma. I was sent the facial wash and moisturiser, but before I had even tried the products I was in love with the packaging. The initial box has gorgeous delicate floral prints on either side and the purple font straight away creates a calming sense as it reminds me of lavender. As you can see above, the bottles themselves are also really pleasing to the eye and are definitely a product I could have openly out on display in my bathroom.

The scent is evident as soon as the product is out of the bottle. Personally, I felt that the cucumber was the main scent which featured slight notes of rose and lime. This creates a really lovely fresh smell that isn't too weak nor too overpowering.
First I applied the facial wash. I put a little amount in my hands and created a lather by rubbing them together which I then applied to my face. Rather than the lather being thick like I expected, it actually dissolved into the skin much like a moisturiser. When I applied water with a damp cloth to remove the excess product it immediately created a lather again. Once I had removed it my skin felt so clean and fresh, and I could smell the product clearly.
After leaving it for a few minutes I then followed up with the moisturiser. This had the same scent but slightly stronger so I wouldn't recommend it for anyone that has really sensitive skin (as sometimes scented products can irritate)! The product itself works amazingly. You only need a small amount to cover the entire face, it soaks in quickly, and leaves my skin feeling soft as well as clean. I used the products almost an hour ago and I can still smell them on me - more of a long lasting scent than most perfumes!
I highly recommend these products, so if you fancy looking at them in more detail you can view the face wash here and the moisturiser here! You can also find them in John Lewis!
Have you ever tried anything from Neal's Yard Remedies? What's your opinion on these products? Let me know in the comments!
