My 100th Post | A New Chapter

I'm often one for starting hobbies and giving up on them so when I started blogging, although I was determined to keep it going, I never could have imagined I would get to my 100th post. It's strange to think that blogging has been a consistent aspect of my life for over 3 years. In a way my blog has become a, sort of, documentation of my life and I'm excited to continue blogging through the next stage of it.

In less than three weeks I'm moving out of my home and heading off to university! It's a massive step that I'm so happy I have the opportunity to take. I'm moving about 6 hours away from home and although being away from my family makes me slightly nervous, I've never been more excited for anything!

Getting my A Level results a couple of weeks ago made me realise just how much this university course can really help me achieve my goals. When I opened my results letter and saw that I had achieved all As in all three of my subjects (English Literature & Language, Media Studies, and Textiles) I was ecstatic. That feeling made me realise just how important success is to me and that I won't stop at anything to get it and surpass my goals*.

- Graduate from my degree course with first-class honours
- Go to CSM to study for an MA in Fashion Promotion
- Intern/work for a year+ with a well known brand
- Live in New York for a year
- Move to London
- Become a well known face in fashion promotion
- Impact thousands of people positively with the blog posts I write and share

I also really want to start being more consistent with blog posting. Sometimes I struggle to find inspiration for what to write about and this stops my ability to post consistently in it's tracks! I know that consistency is a great way to grow my blog so it's something I'm definitely going to be working on. I also want to start increasing the quality of my posts and start integrating more fashion centred posts into my blog.

Yes, I understand that these goals (especially living in New York!) may seem a bit "far fetched", but if you have nothing to strive for then what is the point of trying so hard in...well...anything? I am, personally, driven by my goals and without them I doubt I would have achieved as high results as I did and probably would not work as hard. I believe anything is achievable and although it may take a while to get there, I don't plan on giving up!

I'm studying a course entitled 'Fashion Media and Marketing'. Just re-reading the course information in the prospectus makes me giddy with excitement because it's everything I want to study; styling, journalism, photography, fashion film, social media, branding, and so on! Not only am I hoping that it's going to help me build up a great portfolio of work, but I'm also hoping that it will teach me the skills I need to improve my blog and make it the best it can be.

It's going to be such a scary and amazing journey and I hope you'll all stick with me through it!

Are any of you heading off to University, studying a similar subject to me, or recently received your A level or GCSE results? Leave a comment and let me know, I love to hear from you!
I'll be sure to keep you all posted with everything that goes on in this new chapter of my life!
