A December OOTD | Rosegal*

Top - H&M | Skirt - Rosegal | Tights - Asos | Boots - H&M

I was contacted by a brand called Rosegal who kindly offered to send me a couple of pieces from their website. I've seen so many bloggers working with this brand so I thought, why not give it a go? I chose two pieces that I love - this high waisted buttoned corduroy skirt (as pictured wearing above) and a cozy oversized pink sweater! As these pieces are both so different I've decided to split my review into two separate posts. First up, this gorgeous little skirt...

Living by the Sea | Dezzal *

Wondering where I've been for pretty much all of November? Well, my life has suddenly become madly busier than I could have ever imagined. It's been full of absolutely one thing and one thing only - university work! Who knew university could take up so much of your time? I guess I was a bit na├»ve to assume that it wouldn't.

A Skincare Routine | Neal's Yard Remedies *

I was recently approached by a representative, Alexa, who wanted to send me a couple of products from the new Neal's Yard Remedies range called "Deliciously Ella". Of course I couldn't wait to snatch these products up and give them a try! For those of you that don't know, Neal's Yard Remedies is a London based brand focused on providing organic skincare and natural remedies with only the most natural ingredients included. Their collaboration with the food blogger 'Deliciously Ella' is a skincare range based around the scents of rose, lime and cucumber and I'm so impressed with what they've come up with!

Happy Halloween From Me and HMV *

Halloween is one of my favourite holidays so when HMV contacted me and wanted to send me some Halloween treats I couldn't turn it down! I'm a massive film fan so I have been watching a lot of horror films up until the 31st (today!) so I was so excited to receive two more in the post along with lots of other goodies!

Let's Talk About Feminism

There is a huge stigma in today's society around labelling yourself as a feminist. People often associate the label with a masculine looking lesbian woman with hairy armpits and a tendency to shout about how they hate all men. This stereotype couldn't be further from the truth. Feminists are people who want equal rights for women, and as we feminists develop and learn so does feminism. It's no longer just about women, it's about creating equal rights for all minorities. This type of feminism is known as 'intersection feminism' and it's a label that we should be proud to share - men and women alike.

Wishlist | A Collaboration with Rosegal*

Photograph by Annandrea Giuffre (Check out her blog!)

I was recently approached by the brand Rosegal to work in collaboration. They kindly allowed me to choose items of up to £50 from their website for me to review. I personally love to work with brands! It's always a win-win situation, I get new clothes/accessories to style and content for my blog and the brands receive promotion for their company. However, it's worth noting that I will only ever endorse a brand that I really trust and believe in. So far I am extremely happy with Rosegal's customer service, the variety on their website, the size guide, their social media presence, and more. I can't wait to keep you all updated when I receive the clothes! Now, let's have a little sneak peak of what I ordered...

Staying Healthy | VegWater*

Living a healthy lifestyle is something that has become really important to me over the years. Despite the fact I've never been one for exercise, I try my best to balance out all the aspects of living a healthy life. Shoving exercise "temporarily" to the side, my eating habits are my main focus. In this past year I have gone from limiting my meat, to pescetarian, to full on veggie! Since moving into uni halls of residence I have cut out milk, sweets and a seemingly unbreakable habit - snacking. To help me on my journey JF Rabbit kindly sent me three samples of their new Veg Water to try and it's definitely keeping me from gravitating towards the sugary juice drinks in the fridge.

September Goals | University

In less than a week I'm off to university! I've never been more excited and I'm so ready to move and start a brand new chapter of my life. Even though I absolutely love where I live at the minute (I can hop on a bus to Cambridge easily!) I'm excited to move somewhere that has a bit more of a city vibe!

My August Favourites

September is finally here! I absolutely love the transition from summer to autumn, it's my favourite time of year and that's definitely what the month of September signifies for me. Of course, along with a new month comes a new favourites post! This one is pretty small as I've been attempting to save for University over the last few months so I haven't splashed out on anything big, but I hope you all enjoy it all the same.

Monochrome Passions | OOTD

It's a well known fact to everyone that knows me that I love wearing black. It looks good with everything on any item or style of clothing. It looks great when contrasted with the brightness of my hair. It's slimming. You can wear it with almost any other colour. I. Love. Black. Clothes. Although I've been trying to branch out into colours this summer, as soon as the autumn weather started to slowly reveal itself and I saw a couple of leaves fall from the trees in my garden, I immediately reverted to my old ways - wearing all black and layering. So, even though summer's not over yet, I say let's embrace the colder rainy weather with a black bomber jacket and a smile!

My 100th Post | A New Chapter

I'm often one for starting hobbies and giving up on them so when I started blogging, although I was determined to keep it going, I never could have imagined I would get to my 100th post. It's strange to think that blogging has been a consistent aspect of my life for over 3 years. In a way my blog has become a, sort of, documentation of my life and I'm excited to continue blogging through the next stage of it.

NYX Haul

Recently Nyx counters have been popping up in Boots stores all over the UK and it's fantastic! I'm absolutely in love with all of the products, the packaging and especially the prices! The fact that my retail job enables me to be a pretty short walk away from Boots and therefore a brand new Nyx counter works wonders for my internal happiness and yet completely destroys the contents of my bank account. Lunch break shopping is never a great idea.

Trying to Overcome My Driving Anxiety *

Driving is something that has always made me nervous. The concept of being able to drive never excited me and because of this I was never enthusiastic about having lessons or even passing my test. I had no passion for it and the lessons I had were boring to me - just another two hours out of my day. I've always lived in places that never left me "stuck". I've been lucky enough to live in areas that enable me to easily access shops, banks, restaurants and other sources of entertainment without the need to drive. Despite this I'm now starting to regret giving up on driving so soon.

My Morning Routine | Stepping out of my Comfort Zone

The last time I did a "routine" post I had an amazing response from it! It's one of my highest viewed posts and has definitely been one of my favourites to make. It felt very personal and I loved that. I loved that I could share just a little bit more of my life with my readers. This time I decided to take it further and do something a little more out of my comfort zone.

A Zaful Lookbook*

Recently I was reached out to by a fashion brand known as Zaful. They offered to send me a few pieces from their website to try and review. Of course, how could I say no to that? I have already done a wishlist post on the items I picked out from the website, so if you're interested in reading that click here. If not, then keep on scrolling to see the gorgeous pieces I received from this company.

Going Vegetarian

Going vegetarian was something I decided to do quite randomly. It wasn't because I heard about the way the animals are treated or because I was influenced by anyone in particular. In fact, it's hard for me to remember my exact reasoning. Since becoming a "veggie" I have felt so much more in control of my health in terms of my diet and I have learned so much from the vegetarian/vegan community (particularly on twitter) about animal cruelty. This random lifestyle choice I decided to do as part of my 2016 New Years Resolutions has changed my life for the better.

*DISCLAIMER: What you put on your plate is not of any concern to me, this is NOT a post bashing meat eaters as I'm aware that cutting meat out of your diet is not for everyone.* However, I hope this post can influence some of you in terms of health, education on this topic, or even give you ideas for recipes if you have veggie friends/family members (or are a veggie yourself)!

Finding My Style For Summer | Zaful Wishlist*

Being someone who is very into layering to portray my style, the approach of summer can be daunting in terms of how to adapt my look. I'm a big fan of adding mustard scarves to all black outfits or a camel coat to a fairly muted nude of monochrome look, however, with the heat rising and the involvement of layers in everyday fashion becoming more and more unnecessary, I become confused and somewhat dismayed with what I should wear. This is exactly why when Zaful contacted me and asked me to try their clothes I thought I could use the opportunity to test the waters in regards to summer apparel.

A Casual OOTD

Top - Primark | Jeans - H&M | Shoes - Boohoo

I have owned these ripped jeans for nearly a year now and I realised recently that I've only ever included them in one of my ootd's. Shameful! I wear them all the time and they're a staple piece in
my wardrobe. It's hard to find an item of clothing that they don't go with.

Pride 2016

For those of you that don't know, yesterday was Pride in London! Pride is a massive event, celebrated all over the world, in which people of the LGBT+ community come together to show our pride and solidarity. I was so happy I was able to go and I had such an amazing time that I couldn't not share it on my blog!

Making A Change

As I'm sure a few regular readers will have noticed, I haven't uploaded a blog post in over a month. I could put this down to exam stress and losing my job, but that would be somewhat false. I found my exams to be fairly simple this year (well, as simple as A Levels can be) and losing my job has not put a strain on me at all. I found a new one within two weeks and all losing the previous one has done is allow me to have a bit more time for myself which was nice.

Organisation During Exam Time | Busy B *

It's my last year of compulsory education and that's terrifying to me. I've been at the same school for nearly 6 years and it's daunting to know that the routine of going there every year has finally come to an end. Although I'm really excited to get to the next chapter of my life, there's something that I have to get through first...exams. I'm very lucky that this year I only have 2 theory exams (one for English and another for Media Studies) which means there is not as much revision needed compared to past years, however, because I have multiple jobs, a blog, and a practical exam as well, it takes a lot of organisation to keep on top of everything and not get stressed.

Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Products Review

I've always been a sucker for falling for and purchasing products with stunning packaging, even if they haven't necessarily had the best reviews in the past. Here I have done exactly the opposite. I had been wanting to try a body exfoliator for a while and after doing a bit of research I came across 'Palmer's' which many beauty bloggers seemed to be raving about. Although I was put off by the unattractive and somewhat sinister looking packaging (basically if it's got a lot of writing on it, it's not for me) I decided to purchase it anyway, along with a moisturiser which was on sale, and give it a go!

Coffee. Contour. Confidence. | Coconut Lane *

A while ago a brand called Coconut Lane got in touch with me and asked me to become a "Coconut Queen". Although this is probably as close to royalty I will ever get, I'm loving it! You can't not love promoting a brand that has well made, great quality products that are exactly your own style and taste. I couldn't have asked for a better company to contact me.

LUSH D'Fluff Shaving Soap Review

I am a huge fan of body/bath/shower products so when it comes to brands such as 'LUSH' you would think that I would be buying a whole shop's worth, right? Sadly, this is not exactly the case as when I was 13 I had a severe allergic reaction to a Lush Shower Gel and since then I've been terrified to try the products again! However, walking past the Lush store every other day as I head to work has made it extremely tempting to go in and buy a few products. First I did my research! I decided to play it safe and pick from their best sellers, which is where I discovered the D'Fluff Strawberry Shaving Soap!

A Lazy Day Diary

So today was very much a lazy day for me. I stayed in my pyjamas all day just to shower in the afternoon and change into a different pair of pyjamas. Although they can be a bit boring, lazy days can sometimes be the best. They give me a chance to rejuvenate and have some me time where I can properly think about things and collect my thoughts. They can also allow me to slowly do some work throughout the day which stops me from getting behind with my blogging, work and coursework. Today was one of my classic lazy days and I thought I would share with you my "lazy day routine" so maybe you could get some ideas on how to relax on your days off, or maybe you're just nosey. Either way is fabulous.

Weekend Makeup Routine

As I'm sure most of you know, I love makeup! I'm no makeup artist and I'm probably not even above average when it comes to skill, but I'm obsessed with trying new products, techniques and routines! It dawned on me the other morning that I haven't done a blog post in a while (sorry about that - I've been super busy), but I have also never done an actual makeup routine or makeup "look" post! Straight away, I knew I had to give it a go!

Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation Review

I first heard of Estee Lauder's Double Wear foundation from Youtuber Sammi Maria, who if you read my blog regularly you'll know I'm obsessed with! She introduced it in one of her recent videos and since then I've noticed it being advertised everywhere. At a costly £30 I was hesitant at first to spend so much on a product I had never tried. Thankfully, when I went to Estee Lauder makeup counter during my stay in Plymouth, the kind makeup expert behind the counter matched my skin tone to a shade (Ecru) and gave me a fairly large sample to try.

Day 2 In Barcelona

Day 2 in Barcelona was a lot of walking! We walked down to this huge long street with hundreds of shops and places to eat. In the middle, between the two sides of the street, where hundreds of market stalls selling anything from flowers and fresh fruit to marijuana (yes you read that right). We then took a slight impromptu detour down some side streets which brought us out to a beautiful cathedral and from there we walked down to the harbour.
