Plain White T and Apple Trees

As you may have been able to tell, I've taken a little blogging break over the past month! Who knew the last year of A Levels would start off so stressful? With so much extra work, plus the added stress of applying to university, it hasn't been an easy start back at sixth form. I took about a month off of blogging to focus on my work and get back into the swing of things, but now that the first term is over I've realised that I've pretty much accomplished absolutely nothing! With everyone turning 18 and finally getting their drivers licenses, events are happening and we're going out a lot more which you would think is fabulous, right? True it is, until you wake up the next morning and realise you are three weeks behind on coursework deadlines, still haven't uploaded your personal statement to UCAS, haven't booked a driving lesson in about 4 months, haven't kept your blog up to date and have a raging headache - it's honestly pretty crap. But who doesn't love a bit of honesty?

So, I think I'm finally ready to start focusing now. I wanted this half term to be all about me having some time off and not thinking about anything study/future life related, but with two open days coming up and a horror film to produce over the week, I doubt that will actually happen. However, giving myself a few days off to do my own thing will be really helpful during this break and I know that when I go back that I will be determined to get my work done and get back on track!

I'm also planning to keep really up-to-date with blog posts from now on! I've been so unfocused that I haven't been able to find the time or even the energy to write any. It's really important to me to post quality content on my blog as opposed to a large quantity of average ones. I knew that over the past month, anything I posted on here would have had only half the effort put into it, which is not what I wanted! Waiting to post was definitely a good idea, and now I'm in place where I know I can try to post regularly again!

Thank you all for being patient with me!

  2. I completely understand the stress of A Levels, Georgia, I was in a similar position last year though I hadn't started blogging till this year. Giving yourself a break and sorting things out is a great thing you're doing. Quality over quantity for sure,

Loving your shorts and these photos. Good luck! <3

  4. It is SO important to make sure you give yourself a break Georgia, life can get so busy and we can get so wrapped up in our commitments that we forget to take care of ourselves! Sending you lots of positive vibes and good luck with everything coming your way - you'll feel SO good and accomplished when you get through it all :) As always, beautiful photos (you are just gorgeous!).
