Beauty Box Swap!

Hello everyone! I recently did a beauty box swap with the lovely Rachel over at...
Please go check out her blog to see what I got her in the beauty box I sent! Her post showing what I got her is up and live! Here is a direct link to it, if you want to go check it out...
Rachel's blog is really well written, designed, and is honestly so helpful! I've been reading her blog for a while now and it was so much fun to do a beauty box swap with her!
How amazing are all those products?!?! Just by looking at them I get excited! Our budget for this beauty box swap was only fifteen pounds so it was a bit of a challenge to find good quality products at such low prices! Now you can see that Rachel did an amazing job. Let me talk you through some of the fab things she bought!
First we have this lovely Hand Therapy concentrated hand balm! I got so excited by this because I have really dry hands. I've been using a basic Nivea hand cream, but it hasn't worked. I've now been applying this product for two days now and I can already see the dramatic results! I have no dry or cracked skin anywhere on my hands. I used to have really bad dry skin in between my knuckles, but they're all gone and I'm so happy about it! It also has a really lovely fresh sort of smell to it.
This MUA eyeshadow palette is just gorgeous. The colours are really nice and as you all know, I'm obsessed with MUA products. I've never tried any of their eyeshadow's before so I'm really excited to give them a go! I think the brown (4th colour, bottom row) will make a really lovely smokey eye look!
I love this colour! It's absolutely gorgeous! I really love light pastel colours and I think this one is so pretty to wear, especially for the summer. The brand for this nail polish is Miss Sporty. I've never tried any of their nail polishes before, but I really should have a good look at their collection because this one is lovely. It also says that it's quick dry which makes me love it even more!
You may be surprised to hear this, but I've never tried a lipstain either. Lip products are my favourites and I'm always tempted to buy lip products over any other makeup product. I have what seems like hundreds of lipsticks and lipglosses, but never a lipstain so I was so excited! The day after I received this package I went to the Warner Brother's Harry Potter Studio in London and I put this product on to go there. The shade is 'Fruitilicious' and it's a really intense pink. I wouldn't say it was neon as it wasn't bright, but it wasn't your classic pink or pastel either. It also seemed to have a hint of purple in it as well. Because of it's originality I think it's great! It lasted just under 8 hours so I was quite impressed by that as well!
Another thing I've never tried - yes that's right, let alone have I never used an eyelid primer, but I've also never used an Elf product! As soon as I saw this I literally squeaked. I've heard so many good things about Elf so I was desperate to try this. I applied this the next morning as I was going out to see my lovely friends, and my smokey eye look lasted all day with no smudges or anything! I've used this again today and it made it so much easier and smoother to apply my eyeshadow. I 100% love it!
We have some lovely lashes here! These are MUA (yay!) textured lashes. I normally just buy the normal boring fake eyelashes, but these look great! They're super long - may have to cut them down a tiny bit - and very pretty. Sometimes you get the lashes that look really fake and over the top, but these ones, if cut down to the right length, will look great. They also would be great as long lashes for a night out.
Next we have another MUA product which is their Shimmerkisses Bronzer! Just before I got this box I ran out of bronzer so this saves me going out and buying some more! I think the colours will look really nice blended and I always love MUA products so I'm pretty sure I'll love this bronzer!

I also received this lovely headband! It's a brunettey-brown colour that has been plaited (braided) with a cute flower on top. This is really pretty and I honestly adore headbands. When I was 12 I went through a phase of wearing headbands to school everyday, I still even have my massive box filled to the top with headbands now!
Rachel also added a couple of freebies into the beauty box. These included an Avon perfume sample and a red lipstick sample. I haven't opened either of them yet, but I'm a big fan of perfumes so I can not wait to smell this one! I can tell you that I have at least 20 perfumes in my bedroom at this moment in time and I love adding to my collection. I also mentioned earlier that I'm obsessed with lip products so this little lipstick is the perfect sample for me!
And finally, some cute little chocolates! Who doesn't love chocolate?!?!?
So I want to say a massive thank you to Rachel for doing this beauty box swap with me! If you want to check out her blog and see what I sent her click the link below and it should take you straight to the beauty box post!

  3. Lovely beauty swap! I have the elf eyelid primer in three of the four shades available but I've never been able to get hold of the one I really want which is the sheer version that you have. It's always out of stock because it's the best one as it will work super well under any eye shadow colour.

I'm off to check out what you got Rach now! :-)
